Sustainable Practices

We promise to do everything we can do make Instant Swim as sustainable as possible. From the fabrics we use, to the factories that produce our garments & the packaging they are shipped in, we put thought into each step of the journey. We believe there is always room for improvement, and we are on a continuous journey to bettering our brand.
Read on the discover the ways in which we are working towards a more sustainable future.

Our Fabrics

Our ECONYL® fabric is created from regenerated ocean plastic, such as abandoned fishing nets and industrial plastic. Not only does this help to remove waste from the oceans, but it also reduces the amount of new materials produced. Our recycled fabric reduces the global warming impact of nylon by up to 90% compared with the material from oil.
Through a complex chemical-physical process, the waste is regenerated into nylon with the exact same properties as virgin nylon. It therefore retains all necessary properties to create new products, like our swimwear.

Our Factories

Our swimwear is manufactured in factories that value sustainability as much as we do. Our products will only ever be made in the most ethical manner, with fair trade always being the priority over speed and cost. We have built great relationships with our suppliers so you can be sure your products are made with the utmost care.

Our Packaging

Our packaging is made from biodegradable materials such as corn starch, and can be composted. We always try to keep our packaging to a minimum while still fully protecting your garments, as we believe in reducing wastage as much as possible.

Our Donations

We support Ocean Generation by donating 3% of every sale to their charity. Ocean Generation is dedicated to educating young people on the impact we are having on our oceans, with the ultimate goal of restoring a healthy relationship between humanity and the Ocean.
We support this amazing organisation as they share our ethos of protecting our oceans, as well as inspiring the next generation to make a change when it comes to sustainable living.
